I was born and raised here in Seattle. Even as a child I enjoyed examining the real estate sections of the classifieds and highlighting listings that intrigued me. My mother and I would visit these open houses, though we weren’t planning to buy. We did it for inspiration, love of designs and architecture, and as a bonding experience between mother and son.

After college I embarked on a ten-year career in professional basketball which took me from the San Antonio Spurs and Los Angeles Clippers all the way to China, where I spent my last seven years as a player.  After this I made the decision to find and connect with a new passion. Where better to look than back into my childhood interest in the real estate business?

Three years ago, I stepped into the market for real when I bought my first multifamily investment property, which led to purchasing two more, giving me a total of 14 rental units. This initial involvement in real estate has provided me with first-hand experience evaluating properties including market analyses, purchasing, working through the renovation process, renting the units, and managing the properties.

My career as a professional athlete came with very high expectations and demands.  It was essential to have the ability to do well under pressure in a competitive environment. Strong resolve, resilience, the ability to work with a team and consistency are essential to achieving and maintaining success in a volatile environment with many highs and lows. I apply these same traits or skills every day as a real estate broker.

Being able to educate and counsel clients through their real estate experience is a privilege. When I’m not working, I enjoy time at the beach or park with my two delightful children.  We also enjoy football games, music, anything involving water, bike rides and taking advantage of all the other amenities our beautiful city of Seattle has to offer.
